Server Duties and Responsibilities

You are to ensure that all members & guest feel welcomed and that you always go above & beyond to give them a memorable dinning experience

 

• Learn the Bar & Food Menus
• Learn how to use the POS & Moneris
• Ensure all tables & chairs are clean
• Prepare tables if needed (for dinners & events) – polish cutlery before placing on table, ensure salt & pepper sharkers are clean and full
• Greet members & guests and offer them a table. Some may have reserved tables
• Once they are comfortably seated take their drinks order. For members you should try and remember what their preferred drink is and ask if that is what they would like to order
• Check on customers often and ensure they have everything they need and removed finished plates & glasses
• Take orders for 71 Eatery ensure orders are accurate before bringing the dishes to customers
• Serve starters, dinner & deserts for booked dinners/events & 71 Eatery guests
• Print bills (make sure it is correct before bringing to the table), explaining it to customers if they have questions and collect payments
• Ensure that you adhere to policies & procedures, food safety & serve it right practices.

 

 

Bartender/Server Duties and Responsibilities

Experience in Bartending and serving is required

 

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and 71 Eatery
• Learn the menus
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve food & drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Have a valid Serve-it-Right
